What Is Endaoment?
By Endaoment
A Look at Where We’ve Been—and Where We’re Going
Last week, we launched a new campaign designed to help both longtime supporters and new audiences understand what Endaoment is, what it represents, and where we’re heading next.
Since Endaoment began in 2019, we’ve crossed a major milestone: more than $124 million in donated funds distributed through our platform.
With access to over 1.8 million registered nonprofits, we’ve facilitated donations to 1,245 organizations across 28 countries, supporting causes of every shape and size - from grassroots food programs to global conservation efforts: overview.endaoment.org
And yet, numbers only tell part of the story.
Innovation With Purpose
What sets Endaoment apart is our commitment to building what’s next. We’re not just a home for traditional philanthropy - we’re reimagining the way giving works by enabling donations through cash, stock, and modern digital assets.
This forward-looking approach has positioned Endaoment as a breakthrough in the philanthropic space: a platform built for how people give today, and how they’ll give tomorrow.
With so much momentum, this felt like the right moment to pause - not to slow down, but to reflect, while looking ahead at the global impact we still have yet to make.
To understand Endaoment clearly, it helps to start with the basics.
So… What Is Endaoment?
A simple breakdown of what we do, and why it matters.
1. Endaoment Is a Bridge
People often ask: “What exactly is Endaoment?” Imagine a bridge.
On one side: the ways people give today—crypto, cash, stocks, and everything in between. On the other side: the real-world causes we care about—shelters, schools, climate solutions, community programs. Endaoment is that bridge—connecting modern giving to timeless impact.
2. Endaoment Makes the Process Simple
Here’s how it works—because it’s simpler than you think: You give using cash, crypto, or stock. Endaoment exchanges that gift into dollars.
Nonprofits receive those funds quickly, and they put them to work immediately—feeding families, rescuing pets, planting trees, rebuilding communities. Technology doing what it does best: connecting and eliminating friction.
3. Endaoment Is Really About People
At the end of the day, Endaoment isn’t about crypto, cash, or stocks. It’s about people. It’s about the choices we make to help one another, the small actions that stack up into real change, and the belief that generosity is still one of the most powerful forces we have. Together, we’re turning modern tools into lasting impact— and that’s something to feel good about.
4. Endaoment Lowers the Barriers to Giving
A lot of people want to give - they just don’t always know where to start, or how to make it work with their real financial lives.
Here, there are no minimums to donate and no minimums to open a donor-advised fund. No stacks of paperwork. No long delays. Just always-on philanthropy that meets you where you are.
You can work alongside your financial advisor from anywhere, at any time - without slowing things down or complicating the process. Because when giving feels simple and accessible, more people step into it - and stay in it.
5. Endaoment Is for Everyone
Here’s the part we love most: anyone can take part in this. You can log in using a social account, your email, or even a cold storage wallet. You can give cash, stock, crypto, and more. You’re not boxed into one way of showing up or one kind of generosity.
This is permissionless giving - donor-advised funds and charitable planning without gatekeepers or rigid rules. Give often. Give occasionally. Start small. Think big. However you choose to engage, there’s room for you here.
What Comes Next?
Who we are and what we do are part of a larger effort to bring more transparency, more context, and more humanity to the work happening behind Endaoment.
Because the future of giving shouldn’t feel distant or complicated—it should feel accessible, meaningful, and built for everyone.
Here’s to the next chapter. Here’s to more impact, shared widely. And here’s to a world where generosity moves as fast as everything else online.
