Expand Your Giving Circle with Fund Collaboration
· 2 min read · Endaoment
Fund Collaboration allows donor-advised fund (DAF) advisors to involve trusted collaborators, such as financial advisors, philanthropic consultants, or family members, in the management of charitable funds.
Collaborative Giving, Simplified
We're committed to making charitable giving more efficient, transparent, and collaborative. That's why we're thrilled to introduce Fund Collaboration.
Here's how it works:
Adding Collaborators
Donors can quickly add collaborators through a friendly interface on their Endaoment fund page.
Making Suggestions
Once added, collaborators can suggest specific actions, such as initiating donations, recommending grants to nonprofits, and in the near future, proposing portfolio allocation changes. Suggestions are queued for the advisor's review and approval.
Whenever a collaborator makes a new recommendation, the fund advisor receives an email notification, ensuring they stay informed about the latest developments in their fund's management.
Empowering Advisors, Elevating Impact
Fund Collaboration is designed to empower DAF advisors to leverage the expertise of their trusted network. By involving financial advisors, philanthropic consultants, or family members, you can gain valuable insights and make more strategic decisions about your charitable giving.
This feature is particularly beneficial for:
-
Professional Guidance: Collaborate with your trusted financial advisors or philanthropic consultants to make the right gift, at the right time, every time.
-
Family Philanthropy: Engage your family members in your giving strategy, fostering a culture of generosity and social responsibility across generations.
If you’re ready to give collaborative giving a try? Sign into the Endaoment app, visit your fund page and click “Add a Collaborator”.
The Future of Collaborative Giving
We're committed to expanding the capabilities of Fund Collaboration based on your feedback and evolving needs. Soon, expect the ability for collaborators to suggest portfolio allocation changes, allowing your trusted advisors to provide recommendations on optimizing your charitable fund's investment strategy for maximum impact. Further down the line, we aim to enable even more granular control over permissions, and introduce additional tools for seamless communication and decision-making.
