End-of-Year Giving Made Easy: Introducing our Donation Calculator
· 1 min read · Endaoment
Happy Giving Tuesday! To commemorate this international day of giving, we’re launching a brand new Donation Calculator, designed to help you determine the ideal end-of-year gift amount. In just a few steps, you can illustrate your potential charitable giving tax deduction, and estimate the impact it may have on your tax savings.
The calculator works by gathering information about your current tax situation and expected charitable giving to roughly estimate your tax savings*. Questions include your filing status, your adjusted gross income (AGI), and your current charitable donation amount.
Many cryptocurrency holders may not be aware of the benefits they could potentially be taking advantage of during tax season. In developing this educational tool, we aim to help donors with appreciated assets understand their eligibility around potential charitable deductions when filing their annual income tax return.
This giving season, we encourage you to consider learning more about how you can give in a tax advantageous way to maximize your deductions, and maximize your impact to nonprofits.
