Bringing Our Giving Tools to Legacy Providers
· 3 min read · Endaoment
We're excited to announce Endaoment for Institutions, our suite of tools & services for integrating our donor-advised fund infrastructure into financial platforms.
Modern Infrastructure for Giving:
Today's institutions are also tech companies, with the expertise and resources to build holistic financial management platforms.
Endaoment for Institutions makes our technology and services available to those looking to go beyond traditional white labeling options and arrive at a giving solution that is truly built for their use case.
We’ve taken our entire customer experience and made it programmatically accessible. Leverage any or all of the following:
-
API or white label DAF account creation and management tools
-
Customizable control over user experience and feature implementation
-
Charitable giving workflows without platform switching
-
Smart contract subledgering and bookeeping that reduces audit and overhead costs
-
Support for alternative asset classes and automated liquidation schedules
-
Support for mission-related, alternative and private investment of DAF assets
Institutions no longer have to choose. Embed donations across any asset class, leverage mission-aligned or illiquid investments, manage DAF assets in-house, provide international grant making and more directly within existing tools.
Wide-Reaching Launch Partners:
We’ve been working behind the scenes to court a range of referral and integration partners to kick off what’s possible with Endaoment for Institutions.
Today, we’re thrilled to share several firms from across the industry that we’ve been working closely with:
-
BNY Pershing - a leading provider of clearing and custody, trading and settlement, advisory and investment solutions, data insights, business consulting and other services to wealth management and institutional firms looking to grow their businesses.
-
Ethic - a personalized, values-aligned, and tax-smart investing platform where clients can leverage custom strategies directly inside Endaoment DAFs.
-
Ethereum Foundation - a nonprofit organization that supports the Ethereum blockchain and its ecosystem without controlling it.
-
Active Cause - a platform for creatives and athletes to work in concert with their fans to make donations across local communities.
-
Silver Oak Wealth Advisors - a financial life planning and wealth management fiduciary stepping up to support their next-generation donors
-
Core Planning - an RIA firm dedicated to innovation, shared values, and a framework of generosity and support for their clients
These new partners join our existing developer community with integration partners like ResearchHub - a crowdfunding platform for scientific research. More partners are in the works, and we’ll share along the way as we integrate and new functionality is available.
Why institutions are choosing Endaoment:
From the outset, our protocol has utilized stablecoins and smart contracts to deliver significant savings and advantages. We've been building towards institutional adoption for years now—much like the rest of the industry—and we're seeing major providers recognize what we've known all along: programmable money outperforms traditional systems.
Most wealth management professionals are familiar with basic repackaged donor-advised fund options: simple, branded interfaces built on legacy technology stacks that an external software provider hosts. These experiences get the job done by putting a fresh coat of paint on limited and aging account management systems. Endaoment for Institutions is different, we’re modular. Rather than committing to a single pathway, partners can support customers using our consumer application, a white-labeled offering, or a completely embedded solution within existing workstations and asset management platforms.
Get it right, every time.
When you let smart contracts handle the record-keeping and audit variances, operational costs drop dramatically. Our 2022 and 2023 fiscal audits demonstrate the benefits of transitioning from spreadsheets and manual processes to stablecoin-based systems. The transparency and accuracy across our services are beyond what traditional infrastructure can deliver.
It is evident at Endaoment that onchain systems are the future of financial services. Endaoment for Institutions is our attempt to build a bridge for both legacy and startup providers to upgrade their giving tools to meet this new paradigm. We’re grateful for the support of our incredible launch partners, and can’t wait to bring more into the fold.
