With $2.5m in new fundraising led by Framework Ventures, Endaoment is building the software and organizations necessary to offer community-powered, tax-friendly financial services.
Endaoment.org is the country’s first Community Foundation built specifically for Decentralized Finance. Our Donor-Advised Funds and Community Funds have collectively raised more than $2m for philanthropic causes.
Endaoment.tech is our sister entity, a technology development company tasked with building the software that powers Endaoment.org.
Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve raised $2.5m in commitments as both charitable donations and equity investments from leading venture capital funds and angel investors.
The round was led by Framework Ventures, with major support from Distributed Global and Station 13. DeFi Alliance, Chapter One, and several other prominent funds and angels rounded out the remainer of the fundraise. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the incredible group of investors and advisors who we’ll be working with. It’s an invaluable boost to the kinds of projects and depth of development we can achieve with their help.
The Road Ahead
Over this summer and beyond, we’ll be expanding our nonprofit development team and our software engineering staff to bring tax-friendly financial institutions to life on the Ethereum blockchain.

We think this is tremendous news for users across the DeFi landscape. This funding allow us to build the DAO that is our namesake, enabling us to hand over the oversight of Endaoment.org to our community through active participation in our community foundation.
Additionally, this funding will enable Endaoment.tech to bring to market currently unavailable financial primitives such as Charitable Trusts, College Savings accounts, Pension Funds for DAO participants, Individual Retirement Accounts and other financial trusts.
At Endaoment.org our mission is to manage and encourage the charitable giving of cryptocurrencies. We think pursuing this mission is a critical part of the coming financial overhaul driven by Web3 technologies.
